Me and my wife are having a battle with T-Mobile over our service issues,
false advertising and misleading claims that were not in our service contract.
We are debating legal action against them because they are forcing us to pay the
early termination fee and a bill for a phone that was already shut off by us.
Their service contract says if you move to an area where you no longer have
reliable service you can request a waiver of the early term fee. We have plenty
of proof and evidence and are appalled at there actions.
They are claiming a stipulation which is
not clearly stated in the agreement and have denied our request for this waiver.
We will gladly pay the 157 bill for the phone that was already shut off /
transferred over all we ask is  a removal of 400 dollars in early
termination fees.

We have already filed a consumer complaint
with our state Attorney General we moved to an area where we basically had
little if any reception on the outskirts of Springfield, Mo. We sent in our
request and the company backtracked on the claim that service mattered in the
legitimacy of their contract. In my humble opinion they have been very
misleading in their practices and we should not owe the early termination fee
for either line terminated.
We are working on
finding the right legal counsel and warning others about their deceptive
business practices. We will keep you updated and our fight is only just beginning.

In MY first article on Under30CEO I started to cover some of the awesome tools that Linkedin gives you to get free traffic, leads and branding from your account. Here are more awesome tools you can use to make your Linkedin account work for you.

Get Plugged In With LinkedIn Applications

To build a truly vibrant and influential profile on LinkedIn, you will want to take advantage of the applications that are available. My personal favorites are listed below, but feel free to choose the applications that are the best fit for you!

My Travel and Events: Personally, I love these two applications because they give me the opportunity to showcase the part of my schedule that mostly involves connecting! I want my connections to see where I'm traveling and also the events I'm attending. Don't miss any opportunities to meet a LinkedIn connection face-to-face.

Reading List by Amazon:

We are what we read. Don't miss this opportunity to create a window into your passions and interests by showcasing and reviewing your latest reads. Alternatively, when you are searching through profiles on LinkedIn for potential connections and introductions, you can glean the same insight about others if they have this application installed.

SlideShare:

I use this application to bring in presentations that I've uploaded to SlideShare. It gives me a chance to show my expertise visually. Also, you can embed video or audio into your SlideShare presentation that will automatically play when someone visits your LinkedIn Profile! This can certainly be an effective way to make your profile stickier. More than likely, if the visitor hears your voice, they will scroll down to this part of your profile.

WordPress or Blog Link:

With these applications, you can automatically pull blog posts into your profile. If you are taking the time to create great content on your blog, you must get it out into the world.

Polls:

The LinkedIn Polls application allows you to essentially conduct your own research, either simply within your own network or to a more targeted audience of professionals, which is a paid resource. I have found polls to be an effective tool for understanding my audience. You must make sure that your poll is simple to understand and that your questions are compelling. Otherwise you may not get much response.

LinkedIn applications are essential in helping you develop a solid foundation. Many times, your LinkedIn profile may be the first stop for a new introduction. With a solid foundation and presence in LinkedIn, you will be well positioned to move to the next phase, where you can truly begin growing your influence and building your business.

What are your favorite tools on Linkedin? Let me know in the comments below.

It is highly likely these days that people who are heavily into internet marketing or anything related to making money online in a professional fashion is familiar with LinkedIn. There could be a possibility that the person is already on LinkedIn as their site has over 120 million members and growing. Once you have finally joined the crowd and started getting comfortable with LinkedIn, you;ll notice that LinkedIn doesn't offer any opportunities to make money online, yet if you observe some of the profiles there, you;ll realize that people are making money. How could this be?

Well making connections with other professionals isn't the only reason why some people are using the LinkedIn service. People also go there to advertise their business opportunities and affiliate programs. LinkedIn doesn't pay people to do it, but rather people use LinkedIn as a springboard in making more money in the programs that really pay. Actually, people utilize a variety of different grounds to boost their affiliate programs or online business. You can;t make money without people so you have to go where all the people are and LinkedIn is one nice place to be when you need people.

But what makes LinkedIn really different is the common ground that all these members are in. Other social networking websites like Twitter and Facebook also provide a decent springboard in connecting with others and possibly boosting income potential and there are far more registered users in both of these networks and some others too. However, LinkedIn is composed of professionals that have personal incomes over $150,000. This doesn't necessarily mean that you need to have that income to be a member, but this general statistic gives you a great opportunity in bringing these people on your side so you can build your income and eventually be part of the many individuals that have found success in LinkedIn. LinkedIn is by no means a ticket to getting you really rich overnight. You will still need to be patient especially if you have a small network and are still getting started. You also need to have good communication skills in supporting the people that you meet in LinkedIn as they may become your partners one day. Consistency is also a factor in making things happen if you wish to use LinkedIn to make your business grow.

You don't need to have an online business or affiliate program to make a lot of money with the help of LinkedIn. If you are a blogger and you have Google AdSense, you can link your blog to LinkedIn and get your contacts to your blog. If you have skills at selling and actually have stuff to sell, you can also use LinkedIn as a gateway to your online store. There are plenty of profile options that can connect LinkedIn to anything online business related.

You will never know what the individuals are up to until you check out their profile. Some have aims to help people make money while others are seeking some professional help in growing their income. Find those people and team up with them and slowly make money in LinkedIn over time.

Coaching,Consulting and freelancing are some of the ways you can make more money on Linkedin.

Linkedin has unveiled a new profile which offers superior design and better functionality.

The new profile also offers more interactivity and easier navigation.

Linkedin has been for some time working on improving its product and seems to have delivered

quite an upgrade with this release.

LinkedIn's new Profile page is designed to give its 175 million users an improved tool in marketing their

skills and accomplishments. Compared to the current one the redesign gives a more up-to-date look and

provides a different experience when viewing people's profiles, by focusing on the activity and

connections. The redesign shows insights on companies and people on the network, which LinkedIn says

makes easier establishing common ground with and connecting to people outside of one's network.

Users will get improved tools and more interaction. Below is a look at the profile.

Many are unhappy with the new layout what are your thoughts? Let me know in the comments below.

Empact 100  the group I was nominated for  was mentioned on Forbes.com today.  So awesome! :) As the Article states Empact are helping revive our economy by getting recognition for young entrepreneurs who are creating jobs and innovating. My tiny web business is one of the smallest on the nominees list However I am still super honored to be recognized with so many great entrepreneurs.
